Decade (“this app”) is developed by an individual developer, ZIH LONG GUO. This policy explains how the app handles your data.
The short version
This app has no accounts and no servers. What you record lives on your own phone. The developer cannot see it and cannot obtain it.
Your records
Everything you create in this app — deposit amounts, exercise time, reading records, goal settings, tree style preferences — is stored locally on your device.
The developer operates no servers. This data is never sent to the developer, and the developer cannot read, copy, or restore your records.
iCloud backup (Pro)
After purchasing Pro, the app backs up your records using Apple’s iCloud Key-Value Store.
The backup lives in your own iCloud account, provided and safeguarded by Apple. The developer has no access to it. You can manage or turn it off in iOS under Settings → Apple Account → iCloud.
Deleting the app does not automatically delete the iCloud backup. To remove it, choose “start fresh” inside the app, or turn off iCloud sync.
Advertising
The free version shows banner ads served by Google AdMob.
This app requests non-personalized ads only. Ads are not selected based on your interests or behavior, and the app does not read the IDFA (advertising identifier). App Tracking Transparency is not implemented because this app does not track you across apps or websites.
Even with non-personalized ads, Google’s ad SDK may still collect device-level data for frequency capping and fraud prevention — such as a device identifier, an IP address (which Google may use to estimate the device’s approximate region), crash and performance diagnostics, ad impression and interaction events, and in-app interaction events. After purchasing Pro, ads are no longer shown and the ad SDK no longer requests ads.
In-app purchase
Pro is a one-time purchase handled by Apple’s App Store. The developer never receives or stores your payment information. The only thing the app can know, locally on your device, is whether Pro has been purchased.
Analytics and tracking
This app uses no analytics or tracking SDKs. The developer collects no usage statistics, crash reports, or behavioral records.
Children
This app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Your rights
Since the developer holds none of your personal data, there is nothing on the developer’s side to look up, correct, or delete.
To delete local data, delete the app. To remove the iCloud backup, see “iCloud backup” above.
You can export your records as a JSON file at any time, inside the app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Significant changes will be mentioned in the app’s release notes.
